Excellent trash bags, huge size and very strongThought I found my new source for trash bags but in a matter of 1 week the price went up by $10. Good bags but overpricedThe size was perfect,but they are thin.I like how strong these deceivingly thin-looking trash bags are despite still needing to be careful to not put puncturing types of trash in these bags. For instance, although these commercial bags are made of some pretty tough, high density material, there's barely any “flex” to it, which makes it, making it prone to more easily puncture. However, the 16 micron polyethylene material is excellent to not only line trash containers and bins, but also can withstand a fair amount of trash without easily tearing or leaking.The star seal bottoms of the bags are reinforced, and the way the bottoms are formed it helps the bag to contain garbage in a more sensible way and hold in moderate amounts of liquid. It would be good to always leave one of these on one's trash can and then put another bag on it, so just in case something is thrown in the can that punctures the trash bags, or too much liquid spills out in the pull-out garbage bag, there's the liner back up that will be there to catch it. Again, because of the sensible star shape, these should fit well and naturally in the bin. I'd make sure that I have the top portion secure around the lip so that one doesn't have to wash out the garbage can so often.I like these bags because they are strong, and despite the slightly see-through appearance, these don't tear easily as they are made of dense polyethylene. I'm impressed with the AmazonCommerical trash bag line thus far and depending on one's trash bag needs, these are definitely worth trying. Thanks for reading.TIP: I know that there are garbage bin bands for sale to help keep a trash bag up, but what I've done for years is just loop a bunch of thick rubber bands together until I get the rubber band rope long enough, tie the two ends together, and making sure the fit is snug but still workable, I put this under the lip of my trash can to tuck the top of the bag's opening which helps to securely hold my bags up, and makes a great liner/bag like this one even more effective. One can do two rubber band ropes to have the liner and the pull out bag stay in place without using the same single band. It's dirt cheap, easy to do and a great way to help prevent bag fall-downs and trash spillage into the can.These large bags are perfect for my larger than average trash bins I keep in the garage for recyclables. No ties included, however these are large enough for me to pull the bag out and hand tie each. Much better in my opinion that looking for those loose ties.I absolutely LOVE these garbage bags. They are strong and sturdy, they don't rip or snag. I havent had them to tear while I using them which is huge. I am so impressed with everything about them.These don't have any handles, or pull ties made into them. Typically to tie these, we either pull opposite corners of the bag together and tie them, or twist them up at the top and tape them. The bags themselves or a good thickness so that they don't break easily. They are dark and nothing shows through them. They come in a box and our pre-cut so they just pull out one at a time. They're very easy to open and are ready to be used without a lot of fuss as soon as you pull them out of the box. They aren't reinforced or anything but they're tough enough for most household and kitchen use, and certainly fine for putting up clothes for the season. These would work well for paper waste, though I would not throw a lot of books away in one, because they couldn't handle that kind of weight. The the size is large they work willing and large kitchen garbage can and they also work in my outside Keter plastic trash cans.I cannot believe how much garbage my household puts out. I go through garbage bags so fast. This is a huge box that should last a long time. I like having the large bags to fill. That also helps not going through so many. this are tall and wide. They aren't as thick as your name brand lawn bag so be aware of that. they are strong but not super strong but they will serve me well.
