These bags would get a 5... if they came scented (bathroom needs scented). But all others bags split just trying to go on the 4 gallon basket, these bags have a wide opening!As with a lot of people, I've struggled to find bags large enough for several "standard" size trash cans we have accumulated over the years. I guess they are 5 gallon, but I never could find a good fit. We had been using plastic shopping bags as liners, but they have been banned in our local area. These bags are a tad large for the trash cans, but work well. They are sturdy and allow a bit of organizing by color. As we empty the cans weekly, these should last us 6 months are more. I can't speak to the issue of the biodegradable label, but it is an extra perk. I didn't rate the value as I don't have anything to compare them too. I would definitely recommend.I use these for my bathroom and to pick up dog poop around the yard every few days. They the perfect size and they don't rip.The bags are overall sturdy, colorful and durable than other biodegradable bags ( hopefully they are biodegradable as the seller claims). I started using the blue ones and were happy with the size but very sad to say that the purple colored bags were smaller than 4 gallons and wouldn't fit in my trash bin. Have still to try all colors but was surprised to find the variation in the size even though all the bags are supposed to be 4 gallons.Update: Upon further checking -- Other bags seem to be of proper size. Just one seemed off sized.Didn’t serve purpose -recyclers left them for the trash men. Blue is the way to goPurchased like 3 months ago and have finished 2 roll over 3 trash cans. Have 2 colors left unopened. I think these are cute and the perfect size for a bathroom trash can. Can have one color per bathroom or something if you want. They’re fairly thin and could tear if over filled but they were pretty cheap and I haven’t had any problems yet. Will order again when these run out.These bags are not as sturdy as I had hoped. So much so that I always double bag them. They just aren't sturdy enough to trust just one bag.Good for garbage. Not sturdy or thick plastic. Used also for gift bags because of nice colors.
