I use these to fill with 2000 quarters (~ 25lbs). I've had no problems and I'm happy with the durability of the bags.So the very first bag I filled (with $1,000 in quarters) and went to pick up via the "handle" stretched and snapped the handle right off! Now I don't trust them. Last bags I used for quarters were "MMF Industries Self-Sealing Coin Tote Bag, Single Handle, 6.5 mm, 12.5 x 21.5 Inches, 50 Pound Capacity, Clear, 100 Bags per Box (231042120)" also rated to 50lbs capacity and not one of them even hinted at breaking when picked up and carried from shop to vehicles and vehicles into banks. These were 33% less expensive and obviously of inferior strength and quality. Sometimes you simply do get what you pay for!Updated and dropped to 1 star - also threw them away after two more bags (next two I used!) broke the handles as they were lifted off the ground. Reordered MMF version and again, no problems since. Suppose I should have returned the unused portion, but I just tossed them and moved on. Really poor product.Have not had any bag failures. The handles are heat reinforced and very strong. Sealing tape very strong.IF YOU HAVE TO COLLECT COINS, THESE ARE THEBAGS YOU WANT.HEAVY DUTY AND LARGE !These are great.We use for depositing currency, too.
