Got these bags for multiple purposes, besides storing our stinky minced garlic in the fridge. These will keep the odor contained for sure. Just did a little experiment to see how well they seal, by blowing some air into the bags and closing the retainer. No air leaking when squeezing the bag.They will also be great for carrying toiletries and camp utensils on motorcycle trips. I was surprised at how robust they are. I was thinking they would be like dish glove thickness, but they are maybe 4x thicker than that. Really heavy duty! I can't imagine these bags ever wearing out.When you first get them, just rinse them with a little dish soap, and prop them open with a cup to dry.Get them, you won't be sorry!Using for sous vide cooking. Felt bad throwing away ziplocks and food savers. I wanted some rewashable bags that were food safe. These are pretty nice. Appreciated the measuring levels on he side for cooking liquid-ish items. Would buy again.Update/note: When you put the sealing bar on make sure you are putting it on following the almost invisible arrow on the bag, my wife was going to throw them across the room when we first got them, but once she got the direction thing figured out all was good.I got these to cut down on plastic bags. I like them, but they are heavier than you might imagine. That doesn't stop their use. Wish they made just snack size as well. These would be great for travel or lunches.They are way thicker than I expected. Which isn't a bad thing. I like knowing I'm not wasting baggies all the time now. I used one to marinate chicken the other day and that worked great.I give 5 stars because I just overall love these bags. Easy to wash and reuse and perfect for anyone who is conscious about how much plastic they are using. The only down side I can possibly think of is when I first bought them they were a little hard to peel the sides apart to open them. I was afraid I was going to rip the silicone but if you peel very slowly, you'll be fine. Haven't had the problem since!My wife love this, it keeps our vegetables and fruits fresh, it comes with three medium sized and one big and its heavy duty silicone storage bags, well made and it feels good and easy to wash, I was looking for something that we can use multiple time and finally we have found it, thanks for making such a good product.Highly recommended if you want to keep you fruit and vegetables fresh.I am returning these bags. I find them difficult to pull on and off; they seem to stick; and yes, I have them in the tracks.These bags are durable and have a secure seal. I used one on a recent kayak trip to keep my valuables dry. It worked perfectly! Also really good for keeping water out of food in a cooler. Regular Ziploc bags cannot reliably do that.The bottoms are pleated and expand to accommodate larger items. Oh yeah, and they are reusable!
