I got this because I have a number of larger insulated bags to keep stuff cold, and I thought it would be nice to have a small bag when I just need to take something small. This is sort of a nice little bag with good handles and a front pocket. I got it in black. It's a good size for what I was thinking, like a snack or small meal or one ice cream carton. However, the insulation seems very thin and not adequate to keep anything very cold for very long. I am used to putting frozen water bottles & such in bags to keep things cold, but with a small bag like this, you don't have much room for that (maybe 1-2 frozen water bottles depending on how much other stuff you're putting in). Due to the thinness of the bag/insulation and not much space for ice, I wouldn't suggest using this for frozen foods/ice cream. Putting a frozen bottle or 2 in it along with some food that you just want to keep cool for a while could work. I haven't actually used this/taken it anywhere yet, so I might have more info to update my review with later on when I do.I got this lunch bag for my daughter to use for lunches during a summer program she was a part of. The bag itself is very cute being gray and featuring a small circle detail with a fox head on it. She received many compliments and other students were eager to tell her how much they liked it.I ordered it because it seemed like the right size for her bento box and a water bottle. When it arrived I was very pleased with the size. It's compact and fits only what it needs to. However, the material is very thin, the zipper isn't terribly strong, and it doesn't retain cold like you'd hope a lunch bag will.The overall design is very basic while remaining cute. Good for a child who doesn't need their lunch to be very cold for very long. It's an okay price but I wouldn't expect it to last through a full school year.
