I thought the material was thicker. I forsee it might not loss as long as I need it to. Canvas would be betterI have harvested anything from these yet but they’re a great option to container gardening when space is a premium. They look sturdy and will last through one season. Not sure how much longer and I’ll try to update. If you’ve ever shopped at IKEA, the material is like their popular blue bags.Excellent grow bag and extremely sturdy as the product stated. Perfect for growing potatoes, carrots, onions and anything below ground. I am trying to grow some veggies on my patio after several tries over the years. These bags are so much easier to manage than clay or plastic planters. As you can see, I put in whole bag of (28.3L) soil and fill only 3/4 of the grow bag. I am planting Japanese eggplant and red bell pepper. I will update in the future on my veggies.Looks and feels great quality-wise. I've tried a few of these and think this is a good option. The watering spikes are a nice extra. Looking forward to using them in the garden for tomatoes, potatoes, and as a small compost pile!That's 10 gallons!! I measured the bag height and diameter to provide data for the volume calculators website to see if the total volume is 10 gallons. It makes me happy with the calculations, because 17.7'' tall and 13.7 ''diameter does correspond to 10 gallons of volume. I already started using it to plant some tomatoes.The soil will dry out quickly if I don't water it on time, while I sometimes need to travel. Self watering planter inserts which were given are very attractive to me.I immediately bought it. After receiving it, I cleaned the bag with water and then poured in the organic soil I prepared. Finished it, I put the vegetable seeds on, and then assembled the automatic plant waterer inserted it. It was so satisfied to see the water droplets functioning normally. I enjoyed my garden pot and giveaway.
