I use these for hamburger meat, blackberries, steaks, pork chops, etc. i buy bulk and cut my own as well as process my own deer meat so these bags are perfect! They seal up great and i usually double seal them to be on the safe side.Ordered with sealer and have almost used them up. Can label bag easily with marker.With the price of beef we buy more then we need for one meal and freeze the rest?Suction power wasn't what I expectedNo complaints herethis was a great price, I received it and sealed a block of cheese. but for some reason the bag started to come unvac. I tried 3 other bags in the same package and it did the same thing. I ended up buying another brand and everything was great. I guess I can't return the rest of the bags. must of been defective bags.LikedThese work as expected.I wrote a review for the Greyon sealer machine which works perfectly with these bags if you do not put too much product into them. You need at least 3" on the top of the bag free of product to insert it properly into the machine, and when used for sous vide with wet products you need to cut your product into a smaller portions so the wet product can be easily dropped into the bag without making the edges dirty. It also helps if you fold the top 3" of the bag back before inserting the product to keep them clean. This is essential to getting a good seal. This is not explained in the sealer manual very well, which instead concentrates mostly on vacuum sealing dry or frozen products for storage.I have a vacuum sealer that was purchased from a U.S. manufacturer. I initially bought bags that were exclusive to the brand of vacuum sealer I purchased. However, when I ran out, I needed to get bags quickly and didn't want to wait for them to be shipped from the U.S. I didn't know for sure if the GERYON bags would work. However, I am happy to say they work fine so, next time I need bags, I wouldn't hesitate to buy this brand. The price was decent. My only complaint is the packaging - the bags are a little hard to get out of the box. I would have preferred to store them in the box with the plastic covering that they came in, but that was impossible. I would rather that the bags were flat in the box and could be kept in the plastic covering.Bought these to use with my Geryon sealer and they work great. I've used them for sous vide as well and things turned out perfect. I haven't had one fail yet and used about of them, but honestly I guess that be more about the sealer than the bags. Lots of good ratings and a decent price is what sold me on these. Would recommend.I also have the Geryon Vacuum Sealer, which is great. I find that these bags work well for me. The portion size is perfect. I also have the roll in case I am freezing larger or irregular size items. I am very satisfied with this item and it arrived quickly. I have tried other bags but they have not worked out as well.These are high-quality durable vacuum sealer bags, BPA-free, and more reasonable than other brands. I used to purchase another brand, however after I purchased a Geryon vacuum sealer (which I'm also uber impressed with), I decided to give these a try, and have been purchasing them ever since. I love how well they keep the frost out and they retain their seal (wet or dry food). My only hope is that the 100 bag count will become available again soon, since I go through them very quickly.
