I was using reusable grocery bags before it was "a thing." We had a set of bags (not these) for 15+ years (honestly) and they finally started to fail. I thought I'd never find bags as good as those original ones. I had a few very specific features I wanted in my new bags. I ordered ten of these and they are great! I've been using them for groceries for three months now. I often fill them so they are quite heavy. Jars, bottles, etc. The bags maintain their shape when full and easily fold flat when not in use. The handles are very strong and are the perfect length to hang on my shoulder. The plastic inserts, for the bottoms, keep them upright and can be wiped down if need be. None of the seams have torn at all. I am very happy with these bags for my regular shopping needs.Roughly the same size as a standard paper bag, been using these for a few months without issue. As typical with this type of bag, however, I expect the plastic insert to be the first thing to crack/break; not that big a deal for myself as I often remove it to fold the bag up smaller anyway.I am very pleased with my purchase, and now all I need to do is to remember to take them with me when I shop. Came right away and have been super usefulI've bought these in the past. This time around the material is thinner. I have the feeling they will not be as sturdy and will wear out more quickly. My others lasted years.I'm a stylist that takes his towels home every night... This is nice because I can throw it in the wash with my used towels, dry it, fold my towels and repeat... They have a good 12mo life - so I probably won't need to order more for a long time!It ripps easily?Purple weekly food shopping?Live in a city that discontinued the use of plastic bags!
