Excellent for makeup, shampoo and conditioner bars in their containers, etc. I also typically live in areas prone to hurricanes, or tornados, or earthquakes, so always try to be ready for worst case scenarios. These are so good and such good quality I used the spares to organize the family get home bag, that stays in the car, and ordered another set to organize my bug out bag. One bag can hold my water filter kit, the Sawyer Squeeze with straw, two water pouches, backwash cleaning syringe, and converter. I'm not one of these count ounces people. I just need basics to meet a good relatively lightweight bag that 'm used to carrying. What I've got, I got no worries. These bags are good priced, well made, deceptively hold much, and can be stuffed in easy reach pockets or bag areas. So, ya, great makeup travel bag… and much more!Nice bags. Not sure if waterproof yet. Will know more after my Alaskan cruise.I am very disappointed in these bags they are a good 2 inches bigger than the description says. I want a small 6 inch by 4 or 4 1/2 inch bag. These are way too big for what I wanted. I will say they are a sturdy bag and the color is nice. I will be keeping them because I threw out the box they came in. Back to trying to find a smaller bag.Item was colorful and sizable. Perfect for travel and sorting. But received 4 instead of the 5 as described.fits a lot more than you think! love them so far! use it in my purse and traveled with it recently for my jewelry! worked awesome!They are a good size and seem sturdy. Unfortunately the green one has ink stains on the back and a few dots on the front. They would be good to use as party bags for birthday parties.
