You can heat seal using an impulse sealer, hair straightener, or household iron. Keeps out light and air for short or long-term storage. Includes 100pcs of 300cc Oxygen Absorbers 100 pcs packed in five vacuum-sealed bags of 20 to maintain dryness. Note: Oxygen absorbers will not extract all the air inside your mylar bag. These are not vacuum packs. Oxygen absorber will remove all the oxygen (21 % of the air) from your bags to preserve your food longer. Heat Sealable - Instructions An impulse sealer is great if you have one, but household irons and hair straighteners can also be used to seal the bags. Hair straightener: Place on highest heat setting. Starting at one side of the bag, clamp straightener down for 2-3 seconds. Repeat in sections while slightly overlapping sealed areas, working your way across the top. This will permanently join the front and back of the bag together. Household iron: High heat (NO steam setting). Use a piece of wood to iron against for support. Place top flap of the bag over wood and push against it to iron. Start at one side of the bag and iron a wide strip for 2-3 seconds, permanently joining the front and back together. Continue sealing across the rest of the top. Impulse sealer: Medium-High pressure level. Lay top of bag in alignment with grip mark on impulse sealer. Lower top mechanism and keep sealer shut until light turns OFF. Wait briefly before raising top mechanism, allowing sealer and bag to cool down.
